Gospel-Centered Marriages

Counseling resources for marriage preparation and enrichment.

Pre-Marital Counseling

Helping engaged couples prepare for the new experience of marriage.

Creating a Gospel-Centered Marriage (GCM) includes:

  1. Creating a Gospel-Centered Marriage (GCM) Seminars
    These five seminars led by our Pastor of Counseling, Brad Hambrick, unpack God’s design for growing our appreciation for the gospel through marriage. Topics include foundations, communication, decision-making, finances, and intimacy. View the schedule for live presentations, or access them in video or podcast format online for your convenience.
  2. Mentoring
    You will be paired with a mentor couple to meet with during the months leading up to your wedding. This is a great relationship in which to ask questions and assimilate what you’re learning through the GCM seminars. A mentoring relationship is most effective when the mentors and mentees have an existing relationship, so if you already have a Christian couple you know and trust, we would love to provide the resources for them to be your mentors.

In order to complete our pre-marital program, you need to register at least six months prior to your wedding. If you have less than six months remaining, we recommend either Bridgehaven or our Graduate Counseling Program for your pre-marital counseling.

Members of our church who have been married for five years or more are invited to serve as pre-marital mentors. Investing in engaged couples is a great way to bless and enrich your marriage.

Whether you have been married for 5 years or 45 years, the GCM series is a great resource to enrich your marriage. Go through the GCM series with your spouse, or use it to build community by inviting your small group or other couples to watch the seminars and work through the discussion questions together.
